Ksenia Kirillova

Ksenia Kirillova is an investigative journalist, analyst and writer born in the Ural region of Russia. A specialist in Russian society, Kremlin propaganda, Russian soft power and influence operations, she has for many years contributed to leading international think tanks and media outlets, including the Atlantic Council, Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, Homeland Security Today and the Kyiv Post. In July 2025, the Russian authorities gave her the ‘foreign agent’ status. Alongside her journalistic work, she has developed a literary career. Her novel Russian Nostalgia, originally published in Russian as Efron's Mistake (Oshibka Efrona, Fresh Verlag, Germany, 2023), was published in France in 2026.
