Andrei Zubov

Historian, intellectual, political scientist, and Russian essayist. Specialist in the philosophy of history, religious ideas, and Russian history. In 2014, he spoke out against the annexation of Crimea and Russian policy towards Ukraine, leading to the non-renewal of his professorial contract at MGIMO (Moscow State Institute of International Relations). An engaged personality, he has been the vice-president of the People's Freedom Party (Russian acronym PARNAS) since 2016.
