Thornike Gordadze is a French-Georgian academic and researcher. From 2010 to 2012, he served as Minister of State for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of the Republic of Georgia. He was Georgia's chief negotiator for the Association Agreement and the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement (DCFTA) negotiations with the EU.
From 2014 to 2020, he headed the Research and Studies Department at the Institut des Hautes Études de Défense Nationale in Paris. He was a Senior Fellow at the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) in 2021-2022.
He currently teaches at "Sciences Po" in Paris and is a member of the "Eastern Neighborhood and the Black Sea" program at the Jacques Delors Institute. Gordadze, also a researcher at Gnomon Wise, holds a PhD in political science from SciencesPo Paris (2005).
